Mckray wanted to go off the rope swing but not alone so here he is piggy backing with his dad.

Getting ready to jump.

Juju making sure that Darby had her life jacket on.

Thanks mom for throwing such a great party for me. Thanks to all who came and celebrated my big day.

SWIMMING IN THE POND AND JUMPING OFF BRIDGES

We had a couple free hours so we gathered up the kids and a few friends and headed off to the pond.

Crazy, Crazy best freinds!!!

Who are these kids parents?

1..2...3...JUMP

Bridger was dead set against jumping off until his parents BRIBED him with a
subscription to his favorite on-line game.( I know, I know not exactly by the book parenting).

Once he made up his mind he was up on the rail and off he went. He jumped so quick we barely caught him going into the water on the video.

Bridger's look of satisfaction after completing the jump was awesome!!

Mckray wanted to try the bridge but we decided the dock was a better idea!

It was a beautiful day!!

SWIMMING LESSONS AND GOLF CAMP

It is the 3rd year that our kids have taken swim lessons with "Miss. Debbie." She is an amazing teacher but the kids have a love-hate relationship with her because she pushes them just beyond their comfort zone.

Juju learning how to knee dive.
Bridger in pefect form!Mckray conquering the diving board.
Mckray had to swim the length of the pool this year without stopping and it made him very nervous. We talked to him about doing his best and I told him that he could pray for help. As I was driving to lessons I turned around to check on him and this is what I saw.

GOLF CAMP

After going over putting technique the coach lined up the kids for one try at about a 12 foot putt. Mckray was the only one to sink the putt so the coach took him in the club house and let him pick out a candy bar. THE LOOK ON HIS FACE AND THE STRUT IN HIS WALK AFTERWARDS WERE PRICELESS.It was his first earnings as a golfer!!NICE FORM!!!!!! The golf course is doing a Jr. golf league for the rest of the summer. Once a week they can go up in the morning and play with the other kids. Mckrays age group plays 5 holes and gets lunch at the clubhouse. This has really been the highlight of his summer.

THE LUCKIEST

HAPPY 17th ANNIVERSARY
Regan had to work a half shift from 6 to 12 a.m so after work we got a wild hair and decided to go to breakfast. We ventured over to Ihop but soon found out that it only stays open till 12:00 on weekdays. Who knew!!! We were already away from home and really wanting to have a grand slam breakfast so we took off for Village Inn , surely they stay open 24 hrs. right.......WRONG. So where else.. oh ya DENNY'S...and yes they are open 24/7. There was a line even. So we had a little breakfast and took a few pictures and laughed at how old and tired and funny we look!!! The picture below looks like Regan hasn't slept in a week and I look like a special needs person that he is taking care of. We were on the floor laughing at this picture.
We didn't make it home till about 2:30 am. so after some rest and hanging out most of the day we headed off to have some dinner at Archibald's. The reason that we went there was for nostalgia purposes. That was where we went on our first date/dance...the ever popular Christmas dance 19 yrs. before. We talked about how weird it is to have known each other this long and how we fell so hard for each other and that we both feel like we are still FALLING..... We are still so much in love and really enjoy being together. We laugh alot and just like to be silly and I love that. We feel so lucky and blessed to have each other in our lifes. We feel like we were made for each other. We just FIT!!! It was a really fun and mellow anniversary. Just a day to suit us both.

ICE, ICE BABY

Regan and I hadn't been ice blocking for years so we thought it would be fun to take the kids and let them try it. We invited the Hopkins, bought some blocks of ice and set off to Rock Canyon Park.
Getting a wet butt was part of the experience.
Getting ready for a little healthy sister competition!!!
The boys named their blocks of ice.

Mckray's: Lightning McQueen

Bridger's: Ice Breaker

Uncle Bob: Blue Cruizer

Regan: Screamin' Eagle

Bridger had amazing technique.

DINNER IN THE MOUNTAINS

We decided that is was way too hot to cook dinner so we headed up the canyon to roast some hot dogs and have some fun. We went to Maple Lake and had a splendid time together. Aubrey was absent due to the fact that she had a 4 day 24/7 babysitting job making serious bank.

Bridger was our fire starter. He did a fantastic job!!

We heard an owl hooting in the trees and were trying to get the boys to hear it. Both of our boys are hearing impaired and wear hearing aides but neither of them had them in. Bridger actually heard it but Mckray couldn't and after awhile some cows came into our camp and started mooing really loud and he didn't see them and started yelling "Mom, Dad I hear the owl." Oh we laughed pretty hard at that because you can either laugh about it or cry. What a cute little boy.

HOW MUCH IS THAT FISHY IN THE WINDOW

I sent Aub and Kirstynn to Pet Smart to get Darby groomed and they came home with FISH. I should have known that I couldn't send two teenagers to the pet store and they not bring
home a Friend. Welcome to the family "Poseidon."

PLAYING IN THE SUNSHINE

We spent the day swimming at the reservoir and soaking in the sun.Peace, love and happinessTwo bathing beauties!!!!Mama and the littles.

The two boys enjoying being outside.
We missed Bridger swimming, he went to stay with his cousin for a couple days. It seems like it just keeps getting harder and harder to have the WHOLE family together. We are hitting a new phase of life where our kids aren't always with us. We don't see that changing anytime soon so we will just take advantage and really enjoy it when we are ALL together.

4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION

Our 4th of July celebration started early. We went to the Owlz game on Thursday night. Juju and Mckray both got balls from the first base coach which was the highlight of the night for them. They followed the game with a fireworks display that was really quit good. For well over 10 years we have woke up at 5:00 a.m on the 4th to make it to the hot air balloon festival. It is always a great way to kick off the day. After the balloons we meet for breakfast with the Palfreyman clan and my sister and her family tagged along.
You can't beat a Cracker Barrel breakfast. We headed up to the cabin later in the day and picked up some fireworks and lit them off in a nearby parking lot. Grandma and Grandpa Palfreyman got in on the action. My sister and her family went to the Stadium of Fire where Hannah Montana was singing and Juju loves her so they called her and let her listen to some of the concert. She started crying after the call because she couldn't believe that she had just heard Hannah Montana on the phone. Pretty cute girl!!!!
On the way home from the cabin there was a brief delay coming down the canyon. We later found out that a small grass fire had caused the holdup. Hurray to the fireman who put it out rather quickly!
