Mckray's 2nd Grade Program

Mckray had his 2nd grade program at school last night. He did such a good job. They sang songs throughout all the decades, his class sang "Surfin U.S.A" He really got into it, he does a mean pretent surfboarder. As far as kids programs go this one really was fun to watch, it was fun to hear all of the "MOLDIE OLDIES".

wow

Take this test!
You're yellow, the color of joy and energy — two things you definitely bring to everyone around you. It's hard for anyone to be sad or lonely in your presence; your sunny disposition and cheery outlook just won't allow it. The warmth of your personality shines through in the kindness you show friends and family (and strangers, too). Always ready with a lighthearted joke or heartfelt compliment, you know how to make people feel good about themselves, so they can't get enough of you. Yellow is a warm and inviting color for a warm and inviting person — you!

Am I really old enough for my oldest daughter to be asked to prom????

I can't believe my oldest daughter just got ask to go to PROM!!!! I knew it would come someday but I didn't think it would happen so fast. Where did the time go? It seems just like yesterday that she was going off to pre school and now she is going to prom......It seems like yesterday that Regan and I were just going off to our prom.....how can this be???? If you haven't guessed by now I am a LITTLE freaked. She has gone to other dances this year and I have been fine but for some reason getting ask to prom is messing me up. I am really happy for her but I guess I am just feeling her getting further and further away and growing up and there isn't one thing I can do to stop the clock. Anyway sorry for the melt down I will be fine really. I'm sure Regan will meet this fine young man at the door with his shock gun, all will be well.

Aubrey snowboarding with the Hop's cousins

While we went snowmobiling, Aubrey and her cousins went "boarding" up to Sundance. They had alot of fun. The weather wasn't to bad but it was a little icey which make it a little tough when you wipe out. She was very tired and sore after but made alot of fun memories.

Snowmobiling up Hobble Creek Canyon

We took the snowmobiles out this weekend. Things didn't go as planned, but we still had loads of fun. The snowmobiles had a few issues, one lost it's pull rope so we had to park in to the side and continue on then not long after that Regan's machine started overheating so we stopped and had a nice lunch in the sun and cut the trip a little short. Things like that happen now and again so you just make the best out of it. The kids didn't care they just loved being together and playing in the snow. A really fun day anyway, no work, no school just being in the mountains with the family.

SPRINGVILLE ART MUSEUM

We hadn't been to the museum for many, many years so we decided to take the kids on Sat. To our luck it was the first day of new exhibits from High School kids all over the state. I was very impressed with how good they were but I am always impressed with anyone that can draw or paint........I have NO talent in that area. The kids had fun looking around and finding their favorite pieces. We will have to make it a point to go there more often this time. If you haven't been for awhile I recommend taking the family.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Spending Time With My Favorite Uncle Bob

Journey loves her Uncle Bob. I think the reason is because he is just as silly and crazy as she is. Uncle Bob always takes the time to play with her and tickle her and her favorite thing to dance with her. It is so funny because when JuJu( her nickname) was little she was soooo scared of Uncle Bob and would not go anywhere near him but I guess his persistance has paid off. We were watching T.V last week together and a commercial came on for hair restoration and JuJu looked at me very serious and said mom we really need to tell Uncle Bob about this place they can help him get his hair back. I died laughing and called him right away, we all got a major kick out of that. Thanks for being a great Uncle and thanks for taking so much abuse about your hair.
