KA POW

WELCOME ONE AND ALL .............TO THE HEAVY WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BOUT OF THE NEW YEAR!!.. (raaahhhh)........ In this corner , from the thriving metropolis of Provo, Utah; trained at Home Depot, weighing in at 8.6 lbs. " BEHR GALLON of PAINT "..(BOOOOOOHHH)......... and in this corner, from the small town of Spanish Fork, trained at the school of hard knocks......out weighing his opponent by nearly 60 lbs. .....the one the only MAD DOG MCKRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(RRAAAAAHHHHHHH)!!!

Despite Mad Dog's extreme weight advantage, Behr paint landed a knock out punch, attacking from about 4 feet above Mad Dog's head and delivering a gruesome blow to the nose. This fight was over seconds into the 1st round.

Despite his protests, the young, scrappy fighter was taken to the local emergency room where he received several stitches and a cat scan revealed no damage to the bones or brain. His pride had been damaged but this youngster shed no tears as the Doc stitched him up.

Some of Mckray's biggest fans came to his aid!!!!!!

A special thanks to the EMT (Aubs) for keeping a cool head and delivering great first aid.

With his face put back together and some pain meds he was ready to go. He may have lost the fight but the hospital sent him home with a Madden NFL video game as a consolation prize.

Looks like there could be a rematch!!! Doctors orders are to take it easy while the wound heals.

Only time will tell if this young fighter can make a come back but my money is on Mckray. He has the heart of a lion!!!!

GRADUATION !!!!!!!!!!!!!

After years of school, mounds of homework, hours of studying, tons of tests, lots of stress, stress and did I say STRESS..........HE MADE IT!!!!!!
GRADUATION BABY!!!!!
After his last final I pictured him coming home with tons of energy and excitement, boy, was I wrong. He came right home and went into our bedroom and fell asleep with his scrubs still on. I felt so bad for him. He was exhausted!!! I guess that is what happens when you are OLD and you go back to school. No wild and crazy parties for us.

All that work and all I got was this stupid piece of paper!!!!

Papers, notes and more papers.

It's time to CELEBRATE!!!!

Granny Queenie gave him this watch so he won't be late for work.
Thanks Granny.

Partying with Prestons.
Way to go Regan, April and Cody. Thanks for all the gift cards, well wishes and such!!

Clark and Aldeen took us to the Body World Exhibit. It was fun to go out with just them. Thanks Mom and Dad.

Thank you to all my family and friends for your support as I have went through school. Thanks to my wonderful wife without her support and encouragement I would never have gotten started. Thanks to my kids for being so proud of me and putting up with me being gone so much. I am so excited to be done and start working in my new profession.
Thank You, Regan

NEW HEARING AIDS

Both of my boys wear hearing aids and it was time for Mckray to get new ones. He was playing football at a friends house and he lost it in the grass and unfortunately we never were able to find it.
Hearing aids are not covered by any insurance. They are really expensive but fortunately there is a Children's foundation that insures that every child that needs them can get them. We feel so blessed that there are programs out there to help families like ours. Thanks to Dr. Thurston who told us about this program.
Mckray has worn hearing aids since he was 5. We knew he wasn't hearing well but wasn't sure why. Bridger failed his hearing test at school when he was in the 3rd grade so we took both for hearing test and found out that they both needed hearing aids. We weren't really shocked that Mckray needed them but we were really shocked that Bridger did. He spoke really clear and never seemed to have trouble hearing. Mckray has a more severe hearing loss.
The hearing loss that they have is hereditary. My grandma, dad and two brothers suffer from the same kind of loss. It is a nerve deafness. Which is a progressive hearing loss. Which means there loss can and will get worse. That is a little scary for us but we just take each day as it comes and find joy in today because that is all that we have.
I love these boys so much and am so proud of the way that they live theirs lives and work through their hearing loss.

He is so excited to get his new ones. He loves to wear them because he hates to miss out on what is going on around him.

He was NOT amused by my wanting a picture.

Hearing aids in..... now he is set to take on the world.

GAME NIGHT

We had all the Palfeyman adults over for a game night during the Holidays. It was a last minute idea, but everyone showed up with a treat to share and ready to have fun. Everyone left with a side ache from laughing so hard!
We got things going with a game of "GUESSTURES". Emily showed her gaming abilities and was one of the best as usual.
Grandpa showing off his thespian skills!
After Guesstures we played a game we hadn't pulled out in a long time. All you need is a blind fold and a spoon and a group of people. The blindfolded person wanders the room holding out the spoon. If the spoon is offered to someone they must grab it and "SNORT" like a pig. The blindfolded person tries to guess who is doing the snorting. If they guess correctly then they change places. If not they keep moving around and guessing till they get someone right. It sounds stupid, right....... That is the whole point; in that stupidity is the genius of the game.
WARNING: Game may cause side aches, slapped knees, crying, spastic seizures resulting in people falling out of chairs and more!!!
Me trying not to laugh so Chalan won't guess my identity. Trying not to laugh is one sure way to get everyone laughing!!!
Caleb giving one of his best "PIG SNORTS" awesome!!

My mom laughing uncontrollably.

Chalan falling out of her chair!!

Karla trying her best not to laugh!!!
She isn't doing a very good job, is she.

I had to put this second picture of my Mom laughing. I love to see people laugh till it hurts!!!
