REUNION

Aunt Gena hosted the extended Palfreyman reunion at the Mapleton Park. It was a really good turn out even with it being on Father's Day, Gene and Nola would have been proud to see everyone there. Regan's brother Bentley and his wife Bev came down from Lake Tahoe. It was really good to see them and listen to them play a little bluegrass.

The kids had fun playing with all the cousins on the playground, playing duck duck goose, getting to know you games, volleyball and football.

We ate good food and chatted awhile and had a splendid time.

MY LITTLE'S

We went to subway for lunch and Juju and Mckray shared a "man" sandwich (as Mckray likes to call it) A "man" sandwich really is a meatball sandwich. He is a man trapped in a little boys body. He LOVES all things manly.

Next stop was the library for some books so that they don't get behind in reading. Juju's reading skills have really taken off and she is LOVING to read everything in sight. Mckray, on the other hand would rather play outside than be stuck inside reading.

After the books were checked out we played at the park for hours.

We had BIG, BIG fun.

DIAMOND FORK

A break in the rain clouds came on Monday so we took off up the canyon for a little "rest and relaxation". I am always amazed how in a fifteen minute car drive we can get away from it all!!!

Next time we are bringing the rafts and floating the river.

I THINK YOUR "THRIFTY"

We love playing at the thrift store,(well i think i like it way more than reg) browsing through all the used books, laughing and wondering if anyone has ever read some of them and then finding an awesome book and wondering how anyone could ever part with such a classic.

There is such a plethora of items to dig through and we laughed some more at some of the ridiculous stuff. Can I just say, it makes my day that Regan comes with me on these little visits. FUN, FUN, FUN

After the silliness of the thrift store we went to another favorite to get a sweet pork salad. Yummy. After the salad I needed to stop and get a lemon cupcake. I just had to. We shared because I am trying to be a bit more healthy. Thanks for sharing with me sweetness ( i know you don't have the sweet tooth that i do)

All in all it was a simply delightful day!
