6TH GRADE GRADUATION

Yes, we had yet another graduation. This time it was Bridger's turn. He just completed the 6th grade. He is finished with elementary and on his way to Jr. High...yes I said Jr. High. It may not be hard for any of you to believe but it is really hard for us to believe. Our kids have hit an age where everything is changing faster than we can process it. We are having a blast but time is just going way too fast sometimes. I guess the best thing to do is hold on and enjoy the ride!!!!! Bridger is such a cool cat and we are so proud of him. We expect great thing out of this smart kid. Keep up the good work and keep up the good grades and you will go far. Check out the cool outfit her wore, he looks alot like Angus Young from AC/DC doesn't he? With his shirt and tie and shorts and flip flops. He isn't much on dressing up so this is what he wanted to wear. What a little rebel!!! I can't imagine where he got that from......can you????

QUEENSBERRY REUNION

What unpredictable weather!!!! We arrived Friday, up Sheep Creek to a blanket of fresh snow, we weren't sure that we wanted to stay but thought we would brave the cold. It ended up being pretty good weather, we enjoyed all the 4 seasons in one camp trip. We had a Ton of good food, good southern food that is. Ham, butta' beans and black eyed peas, bbq chicken, baked beans and so on. The last morning we awoke to rain which let up for a couple of hours. Then the next wave came in, a major HAIL storm so we packed up and got the HAIL out of there. Despite the inclement weather we made some wonderful memories.

GRADUATION DAY FOR JUJU

Juju the morning of kindergarten graduation. She was excited and a little sad and her mom felt the exact same way. I can't believe that I finally have all my kids in all day school. You think it will never come and then when it does you just don't seem to be ready. What will I do with all my time??? Maybe get a job......

PLAY BALL

Baseball season has officially started. Journey is playing T ball this year her team is called the "BAT GIRLS". What a way cool name, don't ya think? This is her running to 3rd base.
AHHHHHHH isn't she the gatorade poster girl. She ask her dad if he could bring home some Gatorade and wanted the red kind but she told him that he could bring home which ever color was the cheapest....Can you tell we are starving students...So sweet though.
Mckray giving the boys a pep talk. You have no idea how competitive this little kid is. Sports are his life and he gives it his all. He is all business on the field and thinking ahead of the game all the time. He is on the "RAMS" team which at first he was really upset because they aren't a major league team but once we convinced him that they are a minor league team he mellowed out a little.

In scouts Mckray learned how to fold and show respect for our flag. He wanted to show the family what he learned. Bridger a fellow scout himself wanted to help out. It was really neat to see them have respect for the flag and take it serious.

HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY TRAVIS

My brother in law Travis is officially "OVER THE HILL" today, he turned the big 4.....0..... I would love to razz him and make all kinds of funny wise cracks about his age but unfortunately I am not much younger than he is so I guess I will just leave it at Happy Birthday Travis, I love ya, from one old fart to another!!!!!!!!

TO MY 3 HOT MOMMAS

This is me and my momma at the park hanging out the Saturday before Mother's Day. She took me to lunch and we had a really good time talking and carrying on about all kinds of stuff. She gave me 2 cookbooks because she knows that I read as many cookbooks as I do novels. It is a sickness...... I just get bored with cooking the same ole thing so I like to try new stuff. Anywho I would like to let my momma know how much I love her and enjoy spending time with her. She is always there for me and my family whenever we need her (which ends up being alot.) We had some ruff times when I was growing up but we have worked it all out and I am so happy. I think we FINALLY get each other and except each other for who we are. It may have taken a long time to do but better late than never. I love you so much and I hope to have many more fun days with you. Happy Mother's Day!!!!!!! I love you momma!!!
This is my cute mom in law. I would like to tell her thanks for all she does for us and most of all thanks for raising such an amazing son. That is the greatest gift that you have given me. I love him so much and you have taught him how to be a gentleman. I knew that he would be a good hubby because of the way he treats his mom. Thanks for the many yummy dinners, babysitting kids and letting us spend so much time at the cabin and for always sending my kids home with a bag of treats, or fish crackers. Happy Mother's Day!!!

TO MY OTHER MOTHER.

I tryed to get a picture of my other mom but I couldn't get it to work. JoNan is my momma that saved my life. She let me move into her house when I was a mess and I will forever be grateful for her. She loved me and showed me what a family was and how to be a part of a healthy family and I owe alot of my success to her. I hope you know that I love you and feel very blessed to be part of your family and I'm sorry that I don't get to see you as much as I would like . Happy Mother's Day!!!!!!!! A VERY MERRY UN-BIRTHDAY

Juju's actual birthday is in August so she got to celebrate her un-birthday at school. Boy, kids are spoiled now, I had a summer birthday and I never got to have an un-birthday. One of lives injustices I guess. We were tougher in the "old" days.We took wacky watermelon cotton candy to pass out to all the kids in her class. My sister and I bought a machine and it really has been a great investment because who doesn't love to eat cotton candy. A life without the sweet treat wouldn't be as sweet or as sticky.

SWEET KID

After working the night shift and being up for 24 hrs this is what Regan found on his bed when he got home....If you can't read it, it says "Thanks you for sacrificing your time to help us get money." I love you. Sweet dreams. Bridger. I am so glad tha he isn't growing up too fast and that he still leaves notes for us. He is taller than me (which by the way it not much to brag about) but he is still our little boy. We will hold on to moments like this as long as we can because they won't last forever.

NEW JOB

Regan started his new job tonight. He will be working on the Medical/Oncology floor at the hospital. He will work the night shift and if any of you know Regan he has a hard time staying awake so lets hope he doesn't fall asleep on the job...... He will do great, I love him for being such a hard worker. Good luck Honey!!!!

GRADUATION GET AWAY

Our friend Frank completed his master's in Education Administration.(way to go!!!!) We decided to go celebrate with no kids for the weekend. Enjoyed a yummy meal at Baja Cantina.
We watched the big game, it's a good thing Angie wore her "lucky" Jazz p.j's cause they won!!!
The cabin was quickly converted into "Angie's Cut and Curl". She gave us some much needed color and cuts. No color for Regan just a cut. Thanks Angie we owe you big time. Don't I look snazzy? All is well ,I have my beverage and a color who could ask for anything more.
