HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Just wanted to say Happy Father's Day to all my dad's out there. This is my dad that lives in Virginia. I haven't had alot of contact with him in my life. I reuninted with him two years ago and it was one of the highlights of my life. I love you Dad and I am so happy that you are in my life. I miss you more than ever.
This is my FAB. father-in -law. He is such a funny guy and he always has a really dry joke to tell or he is singing some crazy song to you. I love you tons Clark. Thanks for teaching your son how to be an amazing husband and father.
This is the dad that took me in when I was 17. Without this dad I have no clue where I would be today. He showed me unconditional love and respect and he showed me what a father is supposed to be. He protected me and took care of me and I will always love him for that. Thank you for taking me in and loving me like I was your own. I Love You!!!!
I am so blessed to have so many great men in my life. They each have helped me so much in my life and I am so grateful for each of you . Happy Father's Day to you all!!!

LEMONADE STAND AND A NEW BIKE

Juju decided that she wanted to do a lemonade stand so she raided the pantry and set up shop on the front yard. It was so cute because there wasn't a soul in sight and she is chanting to the top of her lungs "drinks 25 cents, cookies 2 quarters" she is singing this over and over again.
I guess the singing worked because not too long after we had kids showing up with their two quarters ready to purchase whatever she was selling.
Juju brought in a very impressive $3.50. Not bad for about 15 mins. on the clock.
This is the NEW bike that Juju and her dad went and picked out today. She has not gotten off of the thing all day. Pretty snazzy hot pink, don't you think!!!! I remember my first big girl bike, it was a yellow banana seat bike. Those were some good times. I hope that Juju will have as much fun as I did on mine.

PALFREYMAN GET TOGETHER AT TRESTLEWOOD

We had a little get together with the Palfreyman side of the family up at Trestelwood. It was a really good time. We stayed busy 4 wheeling, riding horses, bowling, going to the park, Cascade springs, eating tons of good food, playing speed scrabble(emiliee kicked our butts),having a talent show (who knew we had that much talent in one family), making pet rocks, enjoying just being together. A special thanks goes out to Chalan for putting this all together. We can't wait to see what Caleb and Emilee come up with next year.

We decided that everyone would make a family shirt before we came up. We thought since Regan's family loves the movie The Man From Snowy River then that would be our shirt "theme". The picture on the shirt is Spur (one my favorite characters) saying "One of life's injustices: you never get to choose your own relatives"......we really don't feel that way....maybe we do sometimes ha ha!!!

I love this picture of father and son.

We live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Here are a few pictures of some great views.

I MISS YOU

My best friend Vickie died four years ago of cancer. It feels like forever to me and I think of her all the time. We talked on the phone everyday for 8 years and when she died I didn't know how to cope and I still find myself thinking "I need to call Vickie and tell her"...........but then I realize that she isn't here. It has been super hard for me to loose such an amazing and close friend. I will never forget the week before she passed away I went to tell her a final goodbye and she was really weak and tired and she had bought me something for Christmas so she asked her husband to go down in her storage room to get it but he couldn't find it and we tryed to tell her that we could get it later but she wouldn't calm down and kept asking him to get it and in true Vickie fashion she wasn't taking no for an answer so she got out the bed (that she hadn't been out of in weeks ) she was so weak and feable and made the treck down two flights of stairs just to get me this present. She is dying and she is still thinking of me!!!! and I can't tell you how that made me feel. That is just the kind of friend that she was and I will miss her more than I could ever say. It will always be the best Christmas gift that I have ever gotten. She gave it to me in June and at Christmas time I got it out and I felt like she was here with me and it made the holidays a little more special for me. I think that she planned it that way all along. I hope that I will be blessed to someday find a friend like that again. I will cross my fingers and hope. I love you Vickie and can't wait to see you again. I send you all of my love and I am watching over your daughter like you asked me to do. She is as beautiful as you are and she looks like you more and more each day and when I look at her I see you and that always makes me smile. You would be proud of the woman that she is becoming. You have a space in my heart forever and remember....

"S.H.M.I.L.Y"

(see how much I love you)

(this is how she would sign all her cards to me and her family)

This is Kirstynn her daughter. I love this girl like she was my own and am blessed to have her in my life. She went with us to our family reunion and made these matching rocks, she gave one to me and the other one to put on her mom's grave. She is a sweetheart. It makes me feel close to her mom when she is around. I know Vickie is looking down on her and smiling.

6TH GRADE GRADUATION

Yes, we had yet another graduation. This time it was Bridger's turn. He just completed the 6th grade. He is finished with elementary and on his way to Jr. High...yes I said Jr. High. It may not be hard for any of you to believe but it is really hard for us to believe. Our kids have hit an age where everything is changing faster than we can process it. We are having a blast but time is just going way too fast sometimes. I guess the best thing to do is hold on and enjoy the ride!!!!! Bridger is such a cool cat and we are so proud of him. We expect great thing out of this smart kid. Keep up the good work and keep up the good grades and you will go far. Check out the cool outfit her wore, he looks alot like Angus Young from AC/DC doesn't he? With his shirt and tie and shorts and flip flops. He isn't much on dressing up so this is what he wanted to wear. What a little rebel!!! I can't imagine where he got that from......can you????

QUEENSBERRY REUNION

What unpredictable weather!!!! We arrived Friday, up Sheep Creek to a blanket of fresh snow, we weren't sure that we wanted to stay but thought we would brave the cold. It ended up being pretty good weather, we enjoyed all the 4 seasons in one camp trip. We had a Ton of good food, good southern food that is. Ham, butta' beans and black eyed peas, bbq chicken, baked beans and so on. The last morning we awoke to rain which let up for a couple of hours. Then the next wave came in, a major HAIL storm so we packed up and got the HAIL out of there. Despite the inclement weather we made some wonderful memories.

GRADUATION DAY FOR JUJU

Juju the morning of kindergarten graduation. She was excited and a little sad and her mom felt the exact same way. I can't believe that I finally have all my kids in all day school. You think it will never come and then when it does you just don't seem to be ready. What will I do with all my time??? Maybe get a job......

The best teacher ever!!!!!!
Best Friends forever
