DIAMOND FORK IN THE FALL

DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE GET OUT OF CHURCH AT 5:30 WE STILL TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE FEW HOURS LEFT IN OUR WEEKEND. FALL IS HERE AND DIAMOND FORK CANYON IS BEAUTIFUL. MENA MADE SOME BBQ CHICKEN AND GRANNY QUEENIE SUPPLIED DESERT, AND WE WENT UP INTO THE WASATCH FOR DINNER AND A NATURE WALK.

One of our favorite games is to run ahead of the group, hide in the bushes and then scare everyone as they come by.
The blurred stump in the foreground is a tree that a beaver had cut down with his teeth. We love to have Grannie Queenie along on our adventures.

What is more fun than a can of whip cream!!!!!!!!We ended the night enjoying a campfire and each others company. I love the fall. It was perfect weather and yet with summer gone we practically had the canyon to ourselves.

That does look like a fun evening. The best part is getting the canyon to yourselves. I have never thought to bring whip cream to the canyon. I will have to remember it next time. :)

Hey, Mena, did you play that "hide in the bushes" game when you were little? I remember we did that when we went on horseback rides. It's funny I did that with Brigham the other day when we went on a hike up in the canyon in Tooele.
