Trek
Regan and I got to help with with our church's youth conference. The theme was past, present and future. We just helped out with the past, which was the pioneer trek part. There were stops along the trail representing different placing that the pioneers went through to get to S.L.C. Our spot was Fort Laramie/The Pony Express. We had letters to give the youth from the Stake Presidents.
I admire the Saints for all that they went through to come to Zion. What strong and courageous people they were. This trek reminded me that I need to have more faith in my Heavenly Father that I need to be more grateful for all that I have.

Lunch

The Pony express rider taking a little break.

Our cool youth.
Cool experience.

Looks like fun, I think we should make all teen agers walk form St. Louis to Utah it would be good for them. Regan looks pretty excited about the lunch.

for sure brian...i wanted to be a ma and pa on a long trek. this one was just 6 miles total and it made me laugh to see some of the kids thinking that they had really gone a long way. you can tell the ones that have never walked futher than there driveway to get in their car...tee hee. lets get the families together and do one!
