Highlights from his first game.

With only seven seconds left in the game, the other team had the ball, Mckray steals the ball dribbles down the court looks up at the clock, sees that there is only sec. left he throws the ball up..... it's....it's.....no good, Mckray didn't care so much that he didn't make the shot, he was just proud that he stole the ball away and that lots of his friend saw and gave him high fives.

In that moment all was right with the world in the mind of my 10 yr. old boy.

What's a mom to do??

These two youngins are about to drive me crazy with their constant fighting.

They are so much alike and they bug each other all day... everyday.

I will admit when they are at each others throat, I have been known to LOOSE it myself. Imagine that???

Well, I think that I have come up with a grand solution to the never ending bickering....

They have to go to the corner and put their arms around the other and each tell how much they love the other one, if they continue with the bickering the longer they have to sit together in the loving embrace.

I for one think this is a genius idea

the only problem is,

now

I might have to sit in the corner when I'm being naughty.

We rang in the new year with games, drinking, eating and being merry as well as

midnight sledding and a midnight walk under a beautiful blue moon.

The weekend was fantastic and felt freeing to let go of the old and bring in the new.

goals I've set for myself:

get fit

serve others

be kinder to myself

love more

keep searching for balance

The guys at the hospital all grew out lovely mustaches the month of Nov. in support of

prostate cancer.

We were equally thrilled to have Nov. come to an end so that we could be rid of the

lip sweater ......

Aubrey performed in the Music Man

The cast worked many long nights preparing

WHAT A SHOW

Aubrey would come home from rehearsal feeling unsure about how it all would turn out.

The worrying was for nothing

It was AMAZING

Very talented and hard working kids.

GREAT JOB!!

Grandma's and grandpa's, cousins, aunts,uncles,brothers, sisters,parents and friends

came to lend support.

LOTS and LOTS of love

leaving home at 7:15 headed to her college class

then regular school from 10:30-2:30

rehearsals from 3:00-10:00 sometimes 11:00

She was worn out and very sick at the end.

You would have never known how sick she really was by her great performance
