We hadn't started blogging when Journey had her birthday party, we made this video and we thought it was so cute hope you enjoy it. She had so much fun, we invited the whole neighborhood and took the kids home on a hayride.

Blue and Gold Banquet

Mckray received his Bobcat tonight at the blue and gold banquet. We had to make a cake and he wanted a football because right now that is his obsession. It turned out pretty cute considering we started making it at 3:00 and the banquet started at 6:30 but we got it done just in the nick of time. It was a fun night for Mckray. Anything he gets involved in he goes into it full boar. He is such a go getter and lover of life. His cake got the "superbowl award" and he thought that was the coolest thing ever.

Thing 1 and Thing 2

It was Dr. Suess day today and the boys wanted to dress up like thing 1 and thing 2. In case some of you don't know they are characters from the wonderful book "The cat and the hat". If you havent read this book I highly recommend it. I love Dr. Seuss, the kids and I have had many wonderful story times with his books. My personal favorite is Green eggs and ham. I love the hair boys.

Poor Journey

Doesn't she look miserable? She got what I had and I feel so bad. I tryed to keep them away from me but I guess those nasty little germs got to her. She doesn't want me to leave her side so I am not getting anything done that I need. It is nice to just hang and snuggle with her and really that is so much more important than a clean house right.

REGAN TOOK AUBREY AND JOURNEY ON A HORSE RIDE ON PRESIDENTS DAY. THEY HAD A GREAT TIME.

SICK-SICK-SICK

Here is an awsome picture of myself while I was the sickest I have ever been. I know it is amazing how I can look so good. haha. I at one point started calling on my maker to take me home to a better place but I guess he needed me here, I guess that's a good thing now that I made it through but wow no fun. I am feeling much better now but still weak. I can only hope that none of you get this dreaded sickness. I had a very cute nurse and he did a great job at getting me lots of liquids and listening to me complain about how I can't set in this bed for another second. I am out HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Valentine's Day!!!!!! Cards,Pink Pancakes and Lots of LOVE

Regan and I decorated the kids bedroom door for Valentine's. I wish that I would have been able to enjoy it with them when they woke up but I was deathly ill. Regan was so great and made the traditional pink heart shaped pancakes (well they were pink but no hearts, I guess mom's are better at that ) but no less he did a fantastic job helping out getting everyone ready for the big day. I love that man he is the greatest. After school the kids and dad went to grandparents and delivered the treats to everyone. A lot of love was shown on this day by the whole family. Thanks again.

Goodbye Josie!! We love you and we'll miss you!!

This is Josie a couple of years ago, pheasant hunting with the Hopkins, and Queensberrys. We have had many fun days with Josie over the Years.

This is Josie on Valentines day 2008. She seemed to be feeling better this day, although you can see she doesn't feel well.

Josie, our dog for nine years, died this mornig at about 2:00am. She had been sick for a couple of days. We buried Josie at Grandpa's horse pasture very close to her good freind Ella. I have had many dogs, horses and other pets over the years, but it doesn't seem to get easier when they leave this old world... Josie was a very average bird dog, but she was an exceptional pet. She was gentle and loyal and never lost her puppy playfullness!! I will miss taking walks and getting up birds!! Our family will miss Josie very much. I am reminded of a line from one of my favorite childhood movies, Where the Red Fern Grows. Billy has lost both his dogs and he asks his mom if God has a heaven for dogs. I echo her reply, " I believe so Billy, only... it is much more beautiful than it is here!!!!!!

Happy Valentines Day Honey!!!! I made you this video in an attempt to let you know in some small way how very much you touch me down to my soul. My life began when we met some 18 yrs. ago my love for you grows with each day that we share our lives together. It has been quit a "journey" and I look forward to continuing on forever with you. After Christmas we spent a fun day at the new "Jump On It " in Springville. Just a bunch of blow up jungle gyms, two or three dozen hyper kids, and a candy and soda stand just in case the kids run low on energy. We had a blast for anhour or two. There was a 70 + year old grandma who went down the tower of terror slide. Very cool. Aubrey was out supporting the family working at Wingers. The kids had a great time and Mena and Regan Got in on the action too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
